MISSION STATEMENT
To empower young women through the sport of lacrosse. Our program seeks to teach and reinforce the values of wholesome competition, great sportsmanship, and fair play as well as to support development in leadership/confidence, collaboration/community, and persistence through adversity. Our coaches are all trained through the Positive Coaching Alliance and held to a high degree of accountability and sportsmanship to uphold our program and school values. All players, parents, and fans are expected to adhere to the same level of accountability in how they treat all MHS constituents, opposing teams (players, parents, fans), and officials. Our overall goal is to create a team-first environment and experience our players can benefit from for the rest of their lives.

COACHING STAFF
I’m originally from Frederick, Maryland, where I developed my passion for lacrosse while playing high school and club lacrosse. During high school, I earned First Team High School All-American honors, was named Offensive Player of the Year, and became a three-time First Team All-Conference honoree.
I continued my lacrosse journey at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), where I was a four-year letterman on the Women’s Lacrosse team. Midway through my junior year, I medically retired and transitioned into a new role as an undergraduate student assistant coach, serving in that capacity for my final two seasons.
Beyond collegiate lacrosse, I’ve stayed deeply involved in the sport. For seven summers, I ran my own lacrosse camp, Lax ’N Splash, and coached a local club lacrosse team in Frederick for three summers.
Now, my husband, Dominic, and I reside in Waukesha with our Golden Retriever, Griffey. I work full-time in sales and am proud to be an active part of the Mukwonago lacrosse community!
Coach Megan is originally from Appleton, Wisconsin where she was a part of the first ever high school girls lacrosse team for Appleton United in 2013. Megan primarily played defense and d-wing (which is no longer a position in girls' lacrosse, but think of it like a defensive middie). During Megan's senior year, she received first team all conference for defense and defensive player of the year for the Bay Valley Conference.
Megan attended St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin where she received a Bachelor's degree in English Education. Upon returning to the Appleton area, Megan taught high school English and coached U10, U12, and primarily U14 girls for the Appleton Lacrosse Club youth program from 2021-2024.
In August 2024, Megan moved to the Mukwonago area. She is an English teacher at Mukwonago High School and is excited to continue her coaching career as the JV coach for Mukwonago girls' lacrosse team!
Outside of teaching and lacrosse, Megan enjoys reading, traveling, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
Coach Trina has seen all sides of the sport of lacrosse from player to referee to coach. She began playing in 4th grade and continued all the way through college earning 2nd-Team All-Conference awards for attack as a Senior for Kettle Moraine High School, and as a Sophomore for Carroll University. She continued to earn 1st-Team All-Conference awards her Junior and Senior years at Carroll while also acting as a team captain. Coach Trina became a certified referee in 2015 and began her coaching career at MKE Elite Lacrosse Club in 2021. Coach Trina joined the Mukwonago coaching staff in 2023 during her senior season at Carroll while studying to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduates in May 2025. Coach Trina’s passions include sport performance training as she became a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) in September 2024, as well as crocheting and spending quality time with family!
